Appointments

Schedule an Appointment

The exams generally takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes. Appointments can be scheduled by telephone or email in advance for Mondays (all day), Tuesdays (late afternoon), Fridays (all day) and Saturdays (afternoon). Other days and times are available for your convenience upon request and availability.
Add on cases if an appointment(s) is already scheduled are always welcome. If additional case(s) arise, please call and notify us so we can be prepared and modify our schedule accordingly.

We do not work directly with the general public but rather serve other veterinarians on a referral basis only. Pet owners are encouraged to contact their primary care veterinarian to request their veterinarian contact Infinity Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound for a consultation.

Appointment confirmation

Confirming appointments: We will contact you the day prior to confirm your appointment. Please give us the most accurate patient count possible at that time, including whether you have biopsies planned. This helps us in planning the day and ideally prevents us from running late toward the end of the day. If you do not receive a confirmation call from us, please contact us via telephone.

Last minute cancellations or additions require us to change appointment times on short notice. We recommend your patient be in your hospital 2 hours prior to the planned scheduled appointment time.

Complete the request form

This form is required prior to starting the exam. Please ensure medical history portion of the form is concise but includes recent medical history, clinical signs, and pertinent laboratory changes. Request forms will be provided to you by Infinity Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound to be kept on-hand for future cases.

Veterinary Technician/Assistance

Assistance from a hospital technician will be necessary to aid in patient restraint during the exam only.

Sedation and Anesthesia

Sedation or anesthesia is not required to perform an ultrasound exam, but in many abdominal cases the greatest diagnostic yield will come when the patient is completely relaxed. If an invasive procedure (biopsies, cavity centesis, etc.) is necessary or planned, administration of anesthetic/sedative and patient monitoring is the responsibility of the primary care veterinarian on the case.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of service. Cash or check payments are the only forms of payment accepted at this time. There are no accounts receivables for private practices unless prior arrangements are made.
