BIO: Michael R. Soltero, DVM
Dr. Soltero started veterinary school in 1997 at Colorado State University then took a hiatus to pursue other careers. In 2003, he learned veterinary ultrasound at Sound Technologies and took a full time position as an applications specialist/instructor the following year. He became a part-time educational instructor for Sound Technologies in 2005 when he returned to veterinary school. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2009 with his DVM. While in veterinary school he took multiple rotations in radiology and cardiology to expand his knowledge of veterinary ultrasound. Since graduating school he has been a private practitioner in the Phoenix area and continues as an instructor for The Academy of Veterinary Imaging (formerly Sound Technologies). In 2017, he started as a contractor for Wave Veterinary educational services.
